The ACR-160 is designed to combine battery banks for efficient charging while ensuring they are isolated when the charging process ceases. It prioritizes the charging of the starter battery first, protecting it from excessive discharging. This Automatic Charge Isolator is often referred to as a battery separator, battery isolator, or automatic charging relay.
