Product Description

The Valcom VIP-422A-IC is an InformaCast Compliant Lay-In Talkback IP Ceiling Speaker. This 2' x 2' ceiling tile replacement speaker allows for voice access to a single zone of paging over an IP-based network, extending paging capabilities anywhere on the network. It supports two-way communication (talkback) and integrates with InformaCast servers for output level control, emergency alerts, and tones. The speaker features a high-efficiency Class-D amplifier and a durable steel grille with a white baked enamel finish, blending seamlessly with most ceiling environments. Power is supplied via Power over Ethernet (PoE) 802.3af, eliminating the need for local power.
